This was my first time at the Harvey House Railroad Depot, or Barstow Station in Barstow, California. A few minutes off the highway exists a photographic wonderland of retired trains and engines. Lucky for us, there was no one there so we were able to wander around rather freely and explore.
Obviously, I’ve been really into road shots. These were taken during Labor Day weekend along the I-15 on the way to Las Vegas. There had been some fresh rainfall in the area, leaving us with blue skies, dramatic lighting and clouds of every shape and size. We even got a rainbow!
